New Enemy Faction – 3 types of Thieves can be found in Reverie:
Assassin (Elite)
Marksman (Range)
Brigand (Melee)
Thieves’ Stashes – Located in Dark Hills, Storm Island, and Avalon, they hide secret rooms protected by Thieves:
Treasure room: Fill your pockets with Dream Shards!
Combat room: Avoid traps while ambushed by Thieves!
Cursed room: Challenge yourself with a random cursed ability!
🐦 Magic Mirror room: Duplicate items thanks to the spooky face of the Magic Mirror!
New Mechanic – Melodies:
Locate Magical Harps in Thieves’ Stashes or in Reverie to collect notes
Recompose the 12 Melodies and apply powerful effects on your group of players and on your runs
Otohime Melody: The Hourglass of Dreams empties 25% slower
Lady of the Lake Melody: Healing Fountains and Sacrificial Idols grant +100% VITALITY or DMG
🐦Lucky Hans Melody: Magical Object collections require 1 item less to be considered completed
Galahad Melody: Grants 1 Raven’s Feather and fully heals all Heroes at the start of each day or night
Hansel and Gretel Melody: When the Master Nightmare is awakened, it grants 8 DMG every 20 seconds until the final showdown begins
🐦 Tortoise Melody: Increases move speed for all Heroes by 20%
Merry Men Melody: The locks no longer need keys to be opened; keys now grant 150 Dream Shards each
Long John Silver Melody: Reveals all Raven Marks on the map
Sheherazad Melody: Dreams obtained from the Sandman are restocked 1 time after being purchased
The Goose Girl Melody: In combat, every 15 seconds, each hero unleashes a powerful wind that blows around them, dealing 150 area damage
Fairy Godmother Melody: The group of heroes instantly levels up
The Little Tailor Melody: Grants 3 consumables each time the group of Heroes reaches a level above 10
Melodies can be consulted in the Magical Objects compendium
Some Melodies won’t appear if specific Modifiers are applied (to prevent the effects from becoming obsolete)
Stingy Jack:
Stingy Jack will loot chests in Reverie and run away when he sees you coming!
Hitting him will release Dream Shards and, ultimately, the Magical Object he stole.
Stingy Jack can also release a Note (related to Melody).
Don’t let him escape with your loot!
🐦 Multiplayer Pause:
Any player can pause the game in Multiplayer
Other players can resume a game after a short time (30 sec)
You can navigate Options, the Map, and your Inventory while the game is paused
Multiplayer pauses are unlimited in a code or friends’ invite party
Multiplayer pauses are limited to 3 per player in a matchmaking party to prevent abuse

Heroes improvements, fixes, and balancing
Merlin:
🐦 HUD: Added Runes Icons on the HUD to keep track of the number of runes active (located above Merlin’s Trait icon)
🐦Starfall (Ability): Increased damage of each star to 70/105/126/140 (from 60/90/108/120)
🐦 Trinity (Talent): Collecting the object now grants 2 Stars of Fate (from 1)
🐦 Grace of Heaven (Talent): Trait cooldown reduction is now set at 2/2.5/3/3.5sec (from 4/5/6/7sec)
Brambles Whirlwind (Talent): Fixed damage bonus so it is now correctly additive with other Power bonuses (was multiplicative before)
🐦 Life Seed (Talent):
Healing range has been increased to 12m (from 10m)
Duration has been increased to 2sec (from 1.5sec)
🐦 Retaliation (Talent):
Increased Shield explosion damage to 80/100/120/140 (from 60/75/90/105)
Stagger damage has been increased to 30 (from 5)
The explosion radius has been increased to 6m (from 5m)
Design Notes: We’re preparing major adjustments and Talent replacements for all Heroes in our next update, but we still wanted to address some of the fresh feedback received from Merlin’s Hero DLC in the Songs of Thieves update.
Quality of Life improvements
🐦 Chests and Drops: Rare/Epic Magical Objects are now guaranteed after rerolling an Orange/Red chest or a dropped object
🐦 Charge Cap: Increased the cap for the number of charges of an Ability from 9 to 20
🐦 Oni Mask (Magical Object): Oni Mask values now display current DMG earned and ARMOR lost
🐦 Moonstone (Magical Object): Moonstone values now display current DMG earned
🐦 Dragon Hide (Magical Object): Dragon Hide values now display current ARMOR earned
🐦 Sandman’s Shop: Current values are now displayed on Magical Objects sold by the Sandman
🐦 Results Screen: More than 20 Magical Objects can now be displayed in the end-of-run statistics

🐦 Astral Shrine relearning talents: Fixing an issue where the chances of having better rarity talents were incorrect. Chances are much higher now
🐦 Results screen: Fixed the icons missing when continuing a saved run in the Results screen

Scarlet:
In the Belly (Ultimate): Fixed an issue where the MARKED status was not transferred after using ‘In the Belly’ Ultimate
🐦 Transformation: Scarlet can no longer transform while interacting with menus (to avoid being abruptly kicked out of a menu)
The Pied Piper:
Star Rain (Talent): Fixed an issue where the Talent ‘Star Rain’ effect was not cancelled when the Ultimate ‘Unchained Melody’ was cancelled itself
Beowulf:
Dragon Flight (Ultimate): Fixed an issue where Dragon Flight’s tooltip damage value was not impacted by the Talent ‘Sudden Growth’
Sun Wukong:
🐦 Fiery Golden Eyes (Talent): Fix an issue where the Talent would grant +120% extra shards instead of 20%
🐦 Transfiguration (Ultimate): Fixed an issue where stats earned from sources other than Magical Objects were removed after Sun Wukong’s ‘Transfiguration’
Romeo:
🐦 Deadly Brambles (Talent): Fixed an issue where Romeo’s ‘Deadly Brambles’ Talent would not work as intended
Healing Rose (Talent): Fixed an issue where the healing VFX would be triggered when launching the Rose, even without hitting an enemy
Juliet:
🐦 Perfect Shot (Talent): Fixed an issue that would occur if Juliet got stunned during her Perfect Shot, which would result in all her attacks being Perfect Shots
Wild Waltz (Ultimate): Fixed an issue where the ‘Wild Waltz’ tooltip damage value was not impacted by the ‘Burning ‘Dance Talent

🐦 Summoner Cultists: Fixed an issue where Summoner Cultists’ Tentacles & Eyes summons’ health increased during Overtime
🐦 Captain Hogg: Fixed an issue where the hook attack wasn’t replicated properly, causing it to get caught even if the player was not in the hook range (🤞)
🐦 Roc Birds: Fixed an issue where Roc Birds summoned from Phoenix eggs were not leashing properly (🤞🤞🤞)
